If we emailed you

We write to companies that may spend staff time keying purchase orders. We found your company on the public register at Companies House, and a business contact address on your own website or in another public business listing. We hold the company name, that address, and a record of what we sent and any reply.

We rely on legitimate interests to do this: telling a business about a service relevant to its work, at a business address, a small number of times. You can object at any time. Reply "no thanks", or use the opt-out line in the email, and we will not contact you again and will keep only what is needed to honour that.

If you send us purchase orders

Orders contain business details and sometimes names and contact details of your customers' staff. We use them only to produce your results. They are read using Anthropic's Claude through its business API. We delete trial documents and their results after 30 days, or sooner if you ask. Clients have a written data processing agreement with us.

Who else handles the data

• Microsoft 365, for email.
• Anthropic, for reading the documents.
• Railway, for hosting this website, which sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Some of these companies process data outside the UK and EU, under the standard contractual safeguards they publish.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our using it. Email us and we will answer within a month. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in your own country.
